It was part of the falconry show in Blenheim gardens, surely must be part of their collection, after that there was "jousting" ( not sure of the spelling ), basically people on horses in King Artuhur's atmosphere with lances and all that with a fundamental " circus" attitude and a very funny presenter.
The eagle-owl anyway passed just above our heads in the show, very thrilling, ( children in ecstasy) I could take the photo while she touched the ground near me...I don't know why it is "eagle" owl, maybe because it is so big.

what an impressive bird! I'm guessing its part of their collection of birds, rather than a wild one that visited?
